The ancient ruins of Castell Dinas Bran are high up on the hillside opposite Ty'n y Wern. We are ideally situated whether you are en-route to destinations further into North Wales or spending a few days touring this scenic area. Ty'n y Wern's 36 cover restaurant and bar overlooks the Llangollen panorama and offers traditional home cooking with old classics alongside new favourites. With real log fires in both lounges it provides an ideal setting for a relaxing evening. Breakfast is served in our breakfast room from 8am until 9.30am, check out is at 10am. All rates are inclusive of full Welsh cooked breakfast. Check-in is from 2.00pm, please let us know if you expect to arrive outside these times (your room may not be available until 2.00pm).

Ty'n y Wern is situated on the A5 primary route, half a mile east of Llangollen. (OS Grid Reference SJ228418). If you are travelling on the A483 trunk road, we are 10 minutes from the Chirk by-pass - from the Halton roundabout (McDonalds), follow the signs for the A5 (Llangollen). The nearest train station is at Chirk, and the nearest coach stop is at Llangollen with a local bus service from Llangollen to Chirk.
